Boku Charge — Check Phone Billing, Wallet, or Merchant

Boku says its transactions may be charged to a mobile phone account, deducted from prepaid phone balance, or taken from a supported wallet. Its portal can show purchase details for supported methods, but not wallet transactions.

Boku can route a digital purchase through a phone account

Boku supports payment methods that can settle differently. Its help page says prepaid mobile payments are deducted from the current phone balance, while postpaid purchases appear on the next phone bill. Some wallet payments are deducted from the wallet balance. A Boku reference can therefore appear on a phone bill or payment statement even when the item was bought from a separate digital merchant.

Check the date and amount against app, game, media, or other digital purchases and ask any authorized phone-account user about recent checkouts. The payment method matters: a phone-billed purchase and a wallet-funded purchase may be visible in different histories. A Boku label alone does not identify the product or prove which account holder approved it.

Use Boku's purchase details, with its stated limits

Boku says its customer portal can show the purchased item and merchant or transaction details for supported phone-bill purchases. Its billing guide also notes that prepaid and postpaid charges appear in different places. Start with the portal and the relevant carrier bill, then compare the line item with purchase receipts or the merchant account.

Boku says the portal does not show wallet transactions. If the payment used a wallet, check that wallet's activity instead. Boku's guide for PIX payments also says a bank statement may show Boku or Boku with the merchant name, and directs customers to the merchant for refunds or cancellations. Follow the trail for the payment method actually used rather than expecting one Boku page to show every transaction.

Blocking Boku does not block every premium phone payment

Boku says that blocking Boku prevents further Boku phone payments, but it does not block all premium SMS or direct-carrier-billing charges. If you want to stop a wider class of phone-bill payments, contact your mobile carrier and ask which controls it can apply to the account. Check the merchant's subscription settings as well if the charge is recurring.

For an item you recognize but want refunded or cancelled, Boku's PIX help says Boku cannot initiate the refund or cancellation and recommends contacting the merchant. Keep the purchase ID, carrier statement, or wallet reference available. If the merchant cannot locate a transaction that Boku processed, use the Boku support page for that payment channel.

If you still cannot match the payment

If the official lookup or portal and your receipts still do not match the charge, contact the card issuer using the number on the card or its official app. Ask about the transaction and its unauthorized-transaction process; do not enter card details into unofficial lookup sites.
